How does it work?
Silhouette Soft sutures are made of fully bioabsorbable components compatible with human tissues (polylactic and glycolic acid). The suture acts as a scaffolding under the surface of the skin to lift soft tissues. The cones on the threads that are arranged bidirectionally, hold the threads in place, and at the same time stimulate the body’s production of collagen to replace depleted facial volume which diminishes with age.
It’s an outpatient procedure that uses only local anesthesia. The sutures are placed by needles in the subcutaneous tissue, with a depth of 5 mm, generating the tension we need for the redefinition of the face. Subsequent to the application there may be slight inflammation and small sinkage at the sites of insertion which disappear within a few days.
